JL-types Ky is founded 1990. It's main business is designing and marketing foreign language typeface (font) products. The company started it's activities in Vihti in Southern Finland. From 1998 it is located in Nurmijärvi (about 30 kilometres from Helsinki). The company is family owned.
JL-types' main market is Finland. Most Finnish major companies ar JL-types' customers, but customers range till small companies and students and hobbyist. The most important export countries are Sweden, Switzerland, Austria and Australia. As a matter of fact JL-types has sold its products to all continents except Africa and Antarctis.
